Whatsapp Stories - A clone to snapchat!!

Whatsapp in its new version has come up with a new feature called STATUS replacing the contacts tab. Disappearing images are now a part of the instant messaging app with this new feature. This feature replaces the standard text based status on instant messaging platform with more expressive images or videos for your contacts to see. As of now it has been rolled out globally on Android, iOS and Windows.
The feature very similar to Instagram stories is an honest copy of Snapchat's stories. The main reason behind the feature being borrowed is that the people are already familiar with the feature across other social networking platforms, so it will be easy for a billion users of Whatsapp to use this feature.
